GOD is Real in ME

On the boring Saturday afternoon, I was just flipping through some channels and was searching if some movie is coming or not. OMG - Oh my God! was the only movie coming and I set to watch it. This movie set me thinking and made we realise that in India in the name of God, people are deceived which has become evident from the recent incidents in the past. All Religions are equal, just the way of chanting God's name is different in each of them. Who is a "bhakt" of God or a true "sant"?  The person dressed in "orange" whom you see mostly coming at your place or in trains asking for "dakshina"? or the persons carrying out terrorist activities in the name of God?

We have been taught from our early childhood that there is a Supreme soul above who protects us and cares for us. Some people find their God in temples, some in Gurudwara while some in Church. Idol worship is different from God worship. God is within us. When we pray in front of idol, actually we are praying to God within us. In India, before making marriage, kundlis are matched or manglik status is checked when a child gets born. God has never placed any "dosh" in anybody's kundli or has not created anyone "phursat se". "Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, there is no truth superior to Me. All this Universe, Every living being & Everything rests upon Me, as pearls are strung on a thread." (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seven verse 7). If things go against us, we tend to believe that something is wrong in our stars, then the whole process begins - Fixing appointment with astrologer or a pundit, "scrutinizing" your kundli and your past life and consequently, burning a hole in your pocket. Wearing expensive rings made of ruby or sapphire never takes down "dosh" from anyone's kundli. "Sri Krishna said: You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty."

In the name of religion, we create hatred and violence. There is no wrong in performing anti-caste marriages. Religion is made for humans ... human is not made for religion. Believe in God without fear. "Sri Krishna said : O Arjuna, Always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me, and offer your homage unto Me. Thus You will come to Me without fail. I promise you this because you are My dear friend."

INDIAN GENERAL ELECTIONS 2014 weds SOCIAL MEDIA

One Person = 1 vote.
If you DON'T VOTE, then DON'T COMPLAIN.
The term of Prime Minister will conclude on 31st May 2014 and India will held its 16th Lok Sabha elections. Indian youth, for sure, must be dwindling between Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi, the most sought-after PM candidates of the country. A person who can vote must exercise its option in a very judicial manner after taking into account pros and cons of each candidate. The most important thing is to GO OUT and VOTE!

With the hype of Social media, nation youth has got the platform to make their voices heard and it has become evident from the incidents in the past. If something happens somewhere, the first thing is Status Update or a tweet. The best form of advertising is social media. Election season is buzzing on. Yesterday were the Chief Minister elections and next is the Grand Finale - Lok Sabha Elections 2014 and now comes the role of Social media. Welcome to the world of Twitter and Facebook and now the revolutionary WeChat and WhatsApp. Whatever comes to the mind gets shared instantly. Social media plays a great role to mobilize the youth to go out and vote. In the world of digitization, the formulae for success is Social media. Creating groups, pages, sharing updates, posting tweets increases vibrancy to vote and increases the engagement. The day is not far when the voting will go online. The success of social media and facebook, in particular, in catalysing change is predicated from the voter turnout in Delhi elections. Indian politicians and political parties largely use social media to market their campaigns. It helps as an  "accelerator" in conveying their messages to the public at large. Most political information is conveyed with the help of groups and pages on networking sites.

So, BE the CHANGE you want to SEE. Login to your facebook or twitter account, create groups, spread awareness, tweet as much as you can! Change the Face of India or in short -

WELCOME TO (NEW )INDIA!

CRICKET Personified by SACHIN!

Personification means giving an inanimate (non-living) object human traits and qualities, such as emotions, desires, sensations, physical gestures and speech. Say, for example, while watching the final match of World cup 2011, some people in the stadium were chanting prayers and when the moment arrived, there were tears(happy) in the eyes. The nearby market gets shut down when there is India-Pakistan match.

The biggest example of personification of Cricket is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. Last time, when he was leaving the ground with wicket in his hand and blend of emotions on his face, it seemed as if a child is parting from his mother. Nobody will remember how many records he has made, but the way he has played will be remembered throughout generations. From the day he has started playing, he has shown what the cricket has been for him. There were some occasions where his efforts proved futile on the ground but his saying "When stones are thrown at you, convert them into milestones" is proved by him. The most beautiful gesture of his - whenever he scores 100, he takes his helmet down and looks up at the sky. The Jersey No.10 is only made for him. Every player who plays for his own country has love and determination for the sport, but above all what Sachin Tendulkar did was he brought the nation closer to cricket, not to just see it only as a game. On his retirement day, when he was walking up the stairs, it seemed that from now Cricket will be only a match between two countries. When I saw him retiring, all the childhood memories related with cricked brushed up my mind. I remember some 10 years back or so, when our tution teacher gave us homework and went to other room, we switched on TV and started watching test match, Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar were playing and we all were shouting "Sachin! Sachin!". Every player loves cricket but His love for Cricket is undefined. He has always earned respect.

When all the players were carrying Sachin Tendulkar on their shoulders with National flag wavering in his hand, it showed that he has given not only world-class records but He has carried the responsibility of India on his shoulders respectfully. And then he came back, bowed down, touched the pitch and took "Aashirwad" and went back forever. When He was declared out, all the uproar in the stadium came to halt and it seemed cricket lost its personification. And then the last time He signed on the camera.

"Legends never retire"

Have you ever cleaned 8000 VIRUSES!!

The best thing that has happened in this world is invention of Computer (Thanks! Charles Babbage) and subsequently with the mammoth growth in technology sector, we have laptops and now stylish tablets. With the help of world wide web and cloud computing, Internet has become man's best friend.Sitting at home, one can schedule a meeting, talk with relatives who stays on other side of the globe, create relationships (thanks to facebook) and many more. A building cannot stand without its base. To enjoy the benefits of cloud computing, good internet connectivity and most important, a PC or a tablet is required.

If I talk about my experience, I have Lenovo G560 laptop with intel i5 core processor (which is pretty stylish), supported with windows 7 operating system and Microsoft Security essentials as anti-virus software. Product has built in features such as anti-virus automatically gets updated with latest applications and disallows pop-up applications and potential threats gets automatically removed. Even though, laptop has the best anti-virus software, still I am very "protective" about my laptop, scans every weekend, always check latest updates on anti-virus, keeps my laptop in zip bag when not in use, never allow my cousins to insert any game cds in it for fear of virus entering the system.

Even though with all the care and precautions maintained severe Trojan horses and Dropper entered my system. And not one or two, but around 3000! Now the laptop has become slow and steady, battery life has reduced, system automatically gets off and shut down has to be "forced". Keeping in view the above facts, I downloaded some other anti-virus software with the hope that it might help to block unwanted content from internet. Both the anti-viruses were working day and night to clean PC but the "Horses" were not leaving the "ground". Adding to my worries, the new anti-virus which I downloaded contained 5000 more horses ( Trojan Drooper). So, the total goes to 8000 viruses! which was "Life-threatening" for my PC and the only life-coach is Microsoft security essentials which is working day and night to safeguard my PC. Horses are still "racing" with anti-virus and the "war" has not yet ended. It takes around 4-5 hours to remove few horses from the system and there are still many more. While writing the blog, I am still cleaning the viruses.

Hardwork leads to success. Hope my anti-virus throws all horses from the battle-ground and wins this battle. If I talk about experience with my laptop, it has been pretty good since I bought it. The only problem which I am facing is its battery which is quite vulnerable to external threats (here I mean virus). As of now, I never had any misadventure with my PC except that of this virus "scandal". Now, to talk of new Lenovo Yoga tablet, I can suggest it to have
  •  longer battery life
  • Apple touch
  • amazing apps
Thanks Lenovo for the amazing products and hope to get new Yoga now! facebook.com/lenovo

99% < REMAINING 1%

Percentage means whole. In mathematical terms, it is expressed out of 100. Percentage has varied use in our daily lives. Its most important use comes in academics : to find out the marks, for comparison, to determine the proportion of solute, solvent, mixture.etc. But it has got more use than just academics or professional purposes. Don't think me as a mathematics failure( I use to get highest in school) when I say "99% < Remaining 1%". This remaining 1% has got more power than 99%. It has the power to completely smash 99%. You always base your plans or do everything in life based on 99% and never on 1%. PLANS ARE NEVER MADE FOR 1%, CONTINGENCIES ARE MADE. That remaining 1% is a RED COLORED MARK on our lives. Red colour means Failure, Destruction, Blood, zero peace. 99% means "Work hard..Future rests upon it, Don't see Dreams..Live in them, Hardwork is the key to success " but remaining 1% means every quote written above is False. Very famous tagline - "Be prepared for the worst" and yet we never prepare for it because as I said earlier PLANS ARE NEVER MADE FOR 1%, CONTINGENCIES ARE MADE and contingencies may or may or may not arise. 99% has all the beautiful answers, Will to move on, to Think like an Einsten, to Work like Steve Jobs, to become Successful like Mark Zuckerberg, Your Mind Works like a Google search engine, you have the solutions to all your problems. But what if this whole machine suddenly fails?  remaining 1% will rust this machine and you will reach in a mayhem. A situation in which you don't know what to do, what am I doing on this planet, a thing you never wanted to see in future suddenly comes your way. What would you do if destiny twisted the road you took? What if it threw you to a place you did not want to go? Would you fight, would you run or would you accept? It seems as if you were a non-medical topper in your school and prepared all your way to crack AIEEE but on your D-Day you got blank. What will you do now? Now, how to come out of remaining 1% ? This remaining 1%  might give you new perspective about life (I changed its colour from red to green). You might not be same as before but it will teach you ONE lesson. ALWAYS take up those Challenges in Life for which you atleast 75% know that you are going to succeed and then put your 99% in it. Always set realistic goals. But as I said earlier PLANS ARE NEVER MADE FOR 1%, CONTINGENCIES ARE MADE. Indeed,
99% < remaining 1%
